Description : La Pizza Pazza at uShaka Marine World in Durban is well worth a visit, as it cooks up some of the very best in Italian cuisine that the city has to offer. The menu offers all things Italian and more. On offer are snails, seafood, steak, veal, chicken, lamb, vegetables, pasta and delicious desserts. The pizza is excellent just the right amount of sauce and the crust is near perfect – just to everyone’s tastes. Atmosphere is great. Soft lighting, that is neither too dim nor too bright, illuminates the place beautifully and makes the place feel heavenly and so cozy. The service is impeccable, the kitchen is spotless and managers are delightful and intent on ensuring that customers are properly taken care of and enjoy their meals. First opened in Glenashly in 1993 by the owner Andrea Indrio whose cooking had been largely influenced by a well-known Sardinian restaurateur and friend. Great encouragement from his very loyal customers led to unique dishes being added to the menu and with that La Pizza Pazza slowly grew larger and eventually tripled in size. In June 2004 Andrea in partnership with Michael Maziya opened La Pizza Pazza uShaka. With an authentic pizza oven patrons can watch the chef make a pizza, or kids can make their own pizzas from scratch our pastas are aldente because they are also made from scratch while you watch. All we ask is a little patience from our diners, but promise a fantastic meal made from a selection of fresh ingredients in return. The food is full of flavor and portions are great big ones. This is traditional Italian cooking at its finest- a real culinary feat. A top-notch venue La Pizza Pazza offers one of the best dining experience at uShaka Marine World. With this super spot in town you don’t need to go anywhere else for Italian, it’s worth the trip every time and will satisfy every hard to please patron.
